Boiler Installation

Most of the boilers we fit replace an old combi like for like, or swap a tank-fed system for a combi. Peter visits first, looks at the existing set-up and gives you a written price with the make, model and output on it before any date is booked.

What the survey looks at

• Where the current boiler sits and whether it can stay there
• The flue route and where the condensate pipe can drain
• The size of the gas pipe from the meter
• How many bathrooms you have and how much hot water you use at once
• The condition of the radiators and the water in the system

Choosing the boiler

Peter is a Worcester Bosch approved installer, so most quotes include a Worcester Greenstar option, and he can also price a boiler from another make if that suits your budget better. On the day

The old boiler is drained down and taken away, the new one is fitted and the system is flushed through. Peter then commissions the boiler, registers it for its guarantee and shows you how the controls work. If a repair would make more sense than a new boiler, he will tell you; see boiler repair.
