Boiler Installation in Waterloo
Homes in Waterloo
Waterloo has many large Victorian houses and terraces, some of them close to the seafront. In a big house with more than one bathroom, a system boiler with a hot-water cylinder is often the better fit, because stored hot water copes when taps and showers run together. Where space is tight, a combi heats water on demand and needs no separate cylinder. Robbie's review shown here mentions a boiler we fitted and praises Peter's work and attitude.

“I had a leak under the bath , so I rang Peter .Unfortunately at the time he was on holiday abroad but he still answered his phone asked us to take pictures of the leak and said he’s back from holiday on Saturday at 4 am but will come out Saturday afternoon and have a look .True to his word he turned up Saturday afternoon from his holiday to have a look at the problem. The problem was nothing major but all the pipes needed disconnecting and unblocking from a build up of hair .Peter unblocked all the pipes and reassembled them all .Before I could ask how much I owed him for the job he already said he’d normally charge but considering I had a damp ceiling to sort out and replace that was more of my worries so I didn’t need to pay him WHAT A GUY ! And he was true to his word for coming out , he/ they fitted my boiler in April and I can’t fault him for his work and attitude I highly recommend him and if any more future problems in plumbing or another project I will be contacting him and his company thanks Peter top Man !”
What matters for boiler installation in Waterloo
The survey is where the decisions are made. Peter checks whether the boiler can stay in its current position, whether the flue and condensate routes meet the rules, and whether radiators or controls need work at the same time. Only then do we put the recommended model and output in a written quote, so you know what is being fitted before any work starts.
- Count the bathrooms and think about how often more than one tap or shower runs at once; that decides between a combi and a system boiler.
- Mention any radiators with cold spots: sludge in the system can cause them and make a boiler work harder.
- Finance is available if you would rather spread the cost.
- Installation comes with up to a 12-year warranty.
Questions about boiler installation in Waterloo
Is a combi enough for a large Victorian house in Waterloo?
It depends on the bathrooms and how much hot water is drawn at once. A combi heats water on demand without a cylinder. For a busier house with more than one bathroom, a system boiler with stored hot water is often better, though the Greenstar CDi Compact is a combi built for homes with two bathrooms. We confirm the model after the survey.
Who will carry out the work?
Peter surveys the house first. We are Gas Safe certified and a Worcester Bosch approved installer, and you can check our current registration before work starts.
